WishList Member now has the built in functionality to import or export all of your members.
This makes transfering your members from another membership software application extremely easy so that you can everything running from your WordPress membership site.
Here’s how it works…
From a standard CSV file you can quickly add many members all at once as well as assign usernames and passwords.
The most attractive component of this feature is the fact that you can keep the same username and password for all your members if you are importing members from another system. So essentially once you make the “switch” to exclusively using WishList Member, everything will work flawlessly and your members won’t even feel any “transfer headaches”.
Here’s a quick screen shot of the import feature:
A template CSV file is provided to make the transfer easy and you also have the option of notifying your members with an email update of the changes.
Furthermore, if you are adding new people, the system can create random passwords for each of your members which makes the process of adding lots of people even quicker.
The export feature works very similar in that it will export all of your member data in a CSV file using the same format as the template provided for importing.
